Grenadine & Imani“
GRENADINE comes from the French word for pomegranate. Pomegranates have such positive associations in so many cultures. They are a motif that I have seen again and again on ceramics from Grenada in Spain to 16th Century Ottoman robes in Turkey. They signify health and long life, so I felt it was a good time to create positive energy. The pink, yellow, and green are a change of palette for me but are consistent with my intention always to create something uplifting and cheerful. This fabric is fully reversible so you can mix and match both sides in all colours. My IMANI weave in the same colour tones perfectly and completes this very versatile and usable range. – Susan Deliss
GRENADINE
Smart and pretty weave with a pomeganate motif. Fully reversible so you can mix and match all the Grenadine colors and Susan’s matching Imani weave. Ideal for curtains. Lovely also for domestic upholstery and for blinds, ottomans/footstools and cushions.
Woven in England. Beautiful on its own and excellent as for combining with Susan’s other fabrics, cushions and lampshades.
IMANI
Woven to co-ordinate with Susan’s Grenadine weave. This beautiful design was inspired by Susan Deliss’s love of hand woven African textiles and the detailed dense weaving achieved on portable and simple wooden looms. This is a hard wearing and versatile design that will sit comfortably with many other colors, patterns designs, traditional and modern. This beautiful fabric will look equally lovely used for upholstery, blinds, ottomans/footstools and cushions. Woven in England.
