So stated Princess Ann, played by Audrey Hepburn, in the 1953 romantic comedy, Roman Holiday, a duty-versus-love conflict, where the young princess has to decide whether she wants to stay with the man of her dreams, played by Gregory Peck, or fulfill her royal obligations. Hepburn received that year’s academy award for her stellar performance.

For close to fifty years, La Famiglia Glant has, and continues to cherish, and be inspired by each “holiday” spent in the “Eternal City,” the City of Seven Hills, considered the cradle of western civilization, Neoclassicism, and today, as an important center of fashion and design.
