AUX ABRIS LAUNCHES THE ALCHEMY COLLECTION METAL LEAF PRINTING EVOKES THE TIMELESS BEAUTY OF OLD-WORLD TECHNIQUES

This collection of bold and daring patterns launched at Paris Déco Off 2025 celebrates the richness of traditional craftsmanship while embracing a distinctly modern edge. Printing these designs on metal leaf ground evokes the timeless beauty of old-world gilding techniques. This centuries-old method, historically found in European palaces and cathedrals, carries an air of antiquity and sophistication—yet here, it is reimagined through a lens of modernism. The Alchemy collection is for those who appreciate the beauty of the past but aren’t afraid to embrace the boldness of the present.

Paradiso
This mural presents a captivating scene of whimsical cranes, evoking a serene, dreamlike quality inspired by traditional Japanese artistry. The elegant silhouettes of the cranes, with their fluid movements and delicate forms, bring a sense of tranquility and lightness to the design. Our new Moneta pattern is seamlessly woven into the composition, creating a more intricate and layered visual experience. Moneta
This wallpaper features a small and delicate all-over pattern that, from afar, creates a soft, harmonious texture, while up close, the pattern reveals a wealth of intricate details. Printed on metal leaf, the design gains a new dimension, resulting in wallpaper that transforms the space with an understated charm and play of light. This design is also showcased in our Paradiso mural, and it can complete the room’s look as an addition to a nook or as an accent on the ceiling.

Cosmo
End Papers, a paper marbling technique,  was traditionally placed on the inside covers of leather-bound books and safeguarded the valuable text at the beginning and end of a book. Cosmo derives inspiration from this traditional Italian style of marbling and is further elevated by printing it on gold or silver leaf papers. The shimmering metallic surface catches the eye, reflecting light in a way that brings the design to life, while the marbled effect—rooted in centuries-old Italian craftsmanship—grounds it in tradition.
